Finneas Baird O’Connell (born July 30, 1997) professionally known as Finneas, is a Grammy award winning American singer, songwriter and record producer. He came to prominence for his hit single “Let’s Fall In Love For The Night”. He has produced songs for the likes of Justin Bieber, kid Cudi, Selena Gomez and so on. He is also an actor known for his role as Alistair in the Fox musical comedy series, Glee.

Finneas was born on July 30, 1997 in Los Angeles, California, United States. His father, Patrick O’Connel is an actor while his mother, Maggie Baird, is an actress and screenwriter. His sister name is Bilie Eilish, who is also a musician.
He is of mixed ethnicity; of Irish and Scottish descent.

Career
Finneas developed interest in music at the age of 12 where he began to take songwriting class with his mother.
He has written and produced for several top artists. He co-wrote and produced Eilish’s debut EP “Don’t Smile at Me” and debut studio album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”.
He produced the song “Lose You To Love Me” by Selena Gomez and two tracks on Camilla Cabello’s 2019 album “Romance”.
He became the lead singer and songwriter for the band, The Slightlys before he went solo with the release of his first single “New Girl” in 2016. He followed up with the release of the single “I’m in Love Without You” in 2017 and had released eight singles in 2018 which include the likes of “College”, “Life Moves On”, “Heaven”, “Luck Pusher” and many others.
He released his debut EP, Blood Harmony, in October 2019 and also unveiled his debut album “Optimist” in October 2021.
As an actor, he became known for his role in the comedy drama series, Glee. He has also starred in other movies such as; Life Inside Out and Modern Family.
