Coi Leray was born on May 11, 1997 in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Hackensack, New Jersey, alongside her 5 other brothers.
Her father, Raymond Scott well known as Benzino, is also a music executive and producer.
Career
She dropped out of school at the age of 16 to pursue a career in music. Prior to fame, she worked in sales
She came through with her first single Pac in 2017 and also a follow up with the song “G.A.N” which became a hit track. The success of the two singles was quickly followed up with an album “Everything cuz” as released in March 2018 with guest appearances by Sule, MartianOnTheBeat and Gu Mitch.
The music video for her song “Huddy” also boast of over half a million views on YouTube.
She has worked with the likes of Justin Love, K Dos, Lougotcash, Tattes Swerve and many others.
