Cian Ducrot was born on August 30, 1997 in Cork, Ireland. He is from a mixed ethnicity as his father is Irish and his mother is French. His mother is an instrumentalist who plays the piano.
Ducrot attended Toyal Academy of Music in London on a full scholarship.
Career
Ducrot started his music career during his school days where he joined musicals and drama clubs.
With much inspiration, he came through with his debut mixtape, Started in College, in June 2020. His talent was noticeable and soon paved way for him as he was signed to Darkroom/Interscope Records.
He came through professionally with the release of his first single “Not Usually Like This” in February 2021 and also followed up the next month with the single “Crocodiles”.
He released a couple of songs in the year 2021 from “Know Me Again” featuring Canadian artist Cate in May, to “Chewing Gum” in August, “Make Me Believe” in September, “Hello Gorgeous” in November and “Happier Without Me” in December.
He also released his debut extended play Make Believe which included all the singles released throughout the year.
Ducrot Rose to fame for his single “All For You” as released in April 2022. A version of the song featuring Ella Handerson was released in August 2022. He followed up with another exciting single titled “I’ll be Waiting” as released in November 2022.
However, Ducrot first studio album is expected to be released on July 21, 2023.
