Oladipo Olamide Emmanuel with the stage name Chinko Ekun is a talented Nigerian rapper and songwriter born on September 13, 1993.
He is from Ikare in Ondo state and grew up in Ikotun part of Lagos state.
Chinko Ekun is a Law graduate at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).
Chinko who started music professionally in 2011, csme through with posting videos of his freestyles on Instagram and he eventually caught the attention of the YBNL boss Olamide and got signed immediately to the record label.
Chinko had went on to feature on 3 different tracks on Olamide’s Street OT album. He also dropped singles like “Alejo Oran” and “Emi Na Re”.
Ever since Chinko Ekun came to limelight, he has been a force to reckon with in the Nigerian music industry. H has featured in lots of smash hit singles such as Jahbless’s “69 Missed Calls” alongside Olamide, Reminsice, Lil Kesh and CDQ, Drew’s “Disrespect” alongside Eva and YQ, DJ Enimoney’s “Gapa” alongside CDQ and B Banks and YBNL’s “Shoro Niyen” alongside Olamide, Lil Kesh and Viktoh.
Chinko tiger as fondly called later left YBNL Nation record label and got signed to a Dubai based new record label, Dek-Niyor Entertainment and released his first single “Shayo” featuring Dremo and Falz.
