 Bovi Ugboma who is simply known as Bovi is a popular stand up comedian, director, actor, producer and writer born on September 25, 1979.

He was born in Benin city and originally hails from Delta state part of Nigeria.

He attended UNIBEN staff primary school for his primary education and also attended two secondary schools including one at Ugbeli north in Delta state for his secondary education.

Bovi started out as a reporter at NTA where he served and then came down to Lagos in 2004 and marked his career in the entertainment scene.

 He was a personal assitant ot the veteran actor, Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD) from 2004 to 2006 before launching his own production team.

Bovi’s comedy career started in April 2007 where he began airing the popular sitcom “Extended family”.

As at 2008, he became one of the most sought after comedian in Nigeria where he featured in Opa Williams Night of a thousand laughs Basketmouth’s Uncensored and Lord of the Ribs.

He has also worked with top comedians such as Okey Bakasi, Gordons, Ali Baba, Julius Agwu, I go dye, i go save and Basketmouth.

Bovi got married to his wife, Kris Asimonye in 2007 and their union with two children, Elena Ugboma and David Ugboma.

Apart from comedy, Bovi is also an actor who premiered his first movie “It’s her day” on october 2016.

Bovi has also recived numerous awards including Comedian of the year at Culture People awards and Ghana awards.

BOvi who is a brand ambassador for the telecommunication giant, Globacom, has an estimated net worth of $2.8 million.
