Aubrey Qwana (born April 2, 1993) is a popular South African rapper and music producer who is known for his versatility in the music scene. The multi-talented singer is also known to infuse different music genres which include; Hip hop, Arna zion, Maskandi and R&B.
Early Life
Aubrey Qwana was born on April 2, 1993 in Ulundi, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. He grew up with hs father as his mother, Audrey Buhlebakhe passed away 2004 when he was barely 12 years old.
Career
Aubrey came through with his hit song Ngaqonywa featuring DJ Tira in 2019, and ever since then has become one of the most sought after music artist in South Africa.
He released his debut album in 2020 titled ‘Unplugged EP’ which was followed up with an extended project titled “Imvula Mlomo”. Aubrey style of music, of infusing English and his local dialect, has made him a unique talent.
He collaborated with Sho Madjozi on the single Uhamba Nobani, and has worked with other artists such as Major Lazer, DJ Tira, Magolode, Emtee and so on.
He already boast of top live performances across South Africa and has been one of the fans favorite in the industry with his amazing vocals.
