Born Artem Oleksandrovych Dovbyk on June 21 1997 in Cherkasy, Ukraine.
Career
Dovbyk began his career at the youth level with Cherkasyl Dnipro in 2010 and made his professional debut in 2014.
He signed a contract with FC Dnipro in 2015 and was sent on three-month loan to FC Zaria Baltji.
He joined Midtyjylland in 2018 and later went on loan to SønderjyskE. He signed for the Spanish club Girona on August 6, 2023, for a reported fee of €7 million, where he became the most expensive player in the club’s history. He scored his first goal on his debut in a 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad on August 12. He scored his first hat-trick within six minutes in a 5-1 win against Sevilla on Januray 21, 2024.
At the international scene, he represented Ukraine at the under-18 and under-21 levels. He was called up to the senior team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Iceland. He made his debut for Ukraine in a World Cup Qualifiers against Kazakhstan on March 31, 2021.
