Early Life
Amelia Dimoldenberg was born on January 30, 1994 in London, England. Her father Paul Dimoldenberg is a retired librarian Linda and Webminster City Council member. She also has a sister named Zoe Dimoldenberg who is not too known by many.
Dimz was raised in Marylebone where she attended St. Marylebone school. She obtained A-levels in English, art, politics, and IT. She obtained a diploma in Art and design and a BA in Fashion Communication at Central Saint Martins.
Career
Dimoldenberg started the web series Chicken Shop Date as a humorous column for the youth magazine. It was other members interest that ked her to interview grime artist as she wanted to know more about the music. She had the idea to frame the interviews as dates and the location of a Chicken Shop was chosen.
She presented the Channel 4 documentary Meet the Markles in early 2018, where she travelled to the United States to meet members of Meghan Markles family.
Amelia Dimz appeared in an episode of the Big Narstie show in late 2018. In October of the same year, she appeared as a ‘roving reporter’ in the first series of the ITV2 hip-hop themed comedy show Don’t Hate the Playaz.
The Year 2020 was a lot for the presenter as she appeared on Channel 4’s Celebrity Come Dine With Me alongside Marcel Somerville, Anthea Turner, AJ Odudu, and Dave Benson Phillips.
Dimoldenberg was announced to host a Web short series Celebrity Rebrand for Channel 4 in December 2021.
She became a brand ambassador for Olay in 2022. She also appeared on a “New Year’s Treat” episode of Taskmaster with the likes of Mo Farah, Carol Vorderman, Self Esteem, and Greg James.
