Jimena Navarrete Rosete (born February 22, 1988) popularly known as Ximena Navarrete, is a Mexican actress, model, TV host, and beauty queen who came to prominence as Miss Universe 2010. She also emerged as Nuestra Belleza Jalisco in 2009 and also won the title of Nuestra Belleza Mexico.
Navarrete became the second Mexican to win the Miss Universe after Lupita Jones in 1991.

Early Life
Ximena Navarrete was born om February 22, 1988 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She is one of the two children born to her parents, Carlos Navarrete and Gabriela Rosette. She has a younger sister named Mariana Navarrete Rosete. Her father is a dentist while her mother is a house wife.
She attended Valle de Atemajac University where she studied nutrition.
Career
Navatrete began to model at the age of 16. She emerged winner of Nuestra Belleza Jalisco in July 2009 and went on to win the national title of Nuestra Belleza Mexico.
She came to limelight as Miss Universe on August 23, 2010, where she became the second Mexican delegate to win the title after Lupita Jones in 1991.
She became a spokesperson of L’Oreal Paris and Old Navy in 2011. She made an announcement for her acting debut in 2013, in the soap opera La Tempestad.
She loves traveling and has been to countries like France, Brazil, Panama, Thailand, Chile, Indian, Russia and so on.

Ximena got married to her husband, Juan Carlos Valladares, on April 1,2017 and they have a child, a daughter together.
The couple began dating in 2015 and eventually got married after eight months of engagement. Her husband, Carlos Valladares is a Mexican socialite and businessman.
Ximena had previously dated Jaime Augusto Mayol before they parted ways.
