Amazing songstress, Tiwa Savage have finally part ways with Mavin records after 7 years of loyal service to her boss Don Jazzy.
Prior to Tiwa’s departure, she has been the first lady of the Mavin record label with lots of love from her crew including Di’ja and Korede Bello.
While at the record label, she has produced more hit music including her R.E.D album and her recent single “ONE” still making waves across the country.
Don Jazzy appreciated her stay in the family where he shared the news and wrote:
Our darling Tiwatope. We at Mavin would like to say a very big thank you for being such an inspiration to all of us, a friend, a sister. It’s been an epic journey with you and we are very proud of what we have achieved together. As you start this new chapter in your life we want you to know that we are solidly behind you and can’t wait for the world to see what we have always believed you can be. Your jersey as the First Lady of Mavin will forever be yours as we do not intend to fill that position with anyone else. We love you from the bottom of heart and pray GOD’s blessings continue to follow you. Amen.”
Tiwa Savage has continued her journey in the music industry as she pens a global recording agreement with the American music corporation, Universal Music Group (UMG).
Her new projects will be exclusively produced by Efe Ogbeni of Regime Music Societe and Vanessa Amadi-Ogbonna.
Tiwa Savage said, “My biggest goal is to make Africa proud. I’m so excited for this moment and I’m thankful to Sir Lucian Grainge and my new UMG family for their belief in my dreams. I’m looking forward to this next chapter in my career and I’m more ready than I have ever been.”
