The speculations are finally over as Chelsea unveils its former midfielder, Frank Lampard as its new Manager on a three year contract.
Lampard was signed as the new coach of Chelsea on a £4milloion-a-year deal.
Lampard had spent 13 years as a player in west London, scoring 211 goals in 649 appearances to become Chelsea’s all-time top goalscorer.
He is now in charge of ‘The Blues’ after taking over from Maurizio Sarri who left the club to become the coach of the Italian giant, Juventus.
Lampard who is delighted to be back home said:
“I am immensely proud to be returning to Chelsea as head coach.
“Everyone knows my love for this club and the history we have shared, however, my sole focus is on the job in hand and preparing for the season ahead.
“I am here to work hard, bring further success to the club and I cannot wait to get started”.

“Frank possesses fantastic knowledge and understanding of the club and, last season, he demonstrated he is one of the most talented young coaches in the game.
