Thando Thabethe is a popular South African actress and TV presenter born on June 18, 1990.
Thabethe was born in Soweto and raised inn Johannesburg, Gauteng.
She went to Mondeor High School for her secondary education and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Comm) Accounting at the University of Johannesburg.
She has a brother and a sister. She lost her father at the age of 13 which happens to his 50th birthday and also lost her brother, Sibu Thabethe who was shot dead in robbery in 2015
Thando Thabooty as fondly called, is well known for her role as Thando Nkosi in “Perfect Family’.

Career
Thabethe started her career in media way back in high school while doing some television work on shows such as YOTV’s Quest for Fame, Backchat and Celebrity Fast Facts.
She began to work at UJFM as a news reader while at the University. She eventually got a role in a documentary on the DSTV channel, Mindst Learn.
She later joined YFM in 2011 where she hosted ‘Audio Treat’ which aired on weekends from 12pm to 3pm.
Thando then began hosting a reality competition talent show 1’s and 2’s for SABC in 2014.
As an actress, she got a lead role as ‘Thando Nkosi’ on the SABC 1 sitcom ‘My Perfect Family” in 2011.
She made a guest appearance as co-host of e.tv music show Club 808 in 2013.
She appeared as ‘Lulu’ in the South African series ‘Intersexions’ alongside Khanya Mkangisa.
She also made a guest appearance as Evette on the SABC 1 sitcom ‘Single Guys’ and worked as a commentator on the Vuzu TV game show 10 Over 10.

Thando has appeared in other numerous movies such as Mzansi Love, Thando Bares All, Love Lives Here, Kowethu, Mrs Right Guy and so on.
