Born Omotunde Adebowale David on April 27, 1977, popularly known as Lolo 1 is an award winning Nigerian On-Air Personality, tv presenter, comedian and actress known for her role as ‘Adaku’ in Jenifa’s Diary alongside Funke Akindele.
Omotunde was born in Lagos state into a Yoruba family and hails from Ijebu-Igbo in Ogun state.
She attended Ijebu-Ode Anglican Girls school for her secondary education and studied Law at the Lagos state University, after which she went to law school.
Omotunde had practiced law for three years before going back to her first love which is broadcasting.
Lolo 1 as fondly called has an amazing personality that you will fall in love with at the first glance. she has a melodious voice that can glue her listeners to their radio sets.

Adebowale started her broadcasting career in 2004 with Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria before she moved to Metro FM and then joined the Wazobia FM in 2008 where she worked as a news presenter.
Two years later, she started her own program, Oga Madam Office where she discussed all kinds of issues. She also hosts an annual stand-up comedy skit Oga Madam Live on Stage which has featured performances from A-list artistes such as Tiwa Savage and Brymo.
You will be surprised on how she got her nickname ‘Lolo 1’. Omotunde actually did a radio show where she asked her radio lsiteners for a nickname suggestion. She eventually received 3,000 entries but later ssttled for “Lolo” as she wanted something simple and relatable. She also liked the fact that Lolo in Igbo means “Queen”.
Omotunde delved into acting partially where she played the role of ‘Adaku’, an Igbo character, in Jenifa’s Diary. She was discovered as a talent by Funke Akindele at Yaw’s show. Infact many had thought Lolo1 is an Igbo woman until you get to know her real name.
Omotunde is a single mother with four children, three sons and a daughter. She got divorced from her husband on mutual understanding. She tried to keep her family life as private as possible.
Adebowale is also motivational speaker, event consultant and master of ceremonies at corporate events and wedding ceremonies.

Omotunde has won numerous awards such as On Air Personality of the Year Award (Female) at the 2016 City People Entertainment Awards and Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Award for Outstanding Radio Program Presenter-Lagos.
