Doris Simeon is an award winning Nigerian actress and television presenter born on July 22nd.

Doris whose parents are from Okpella in Benin, Edo state, was born in Lagos.

She grew up in a polygamous family and was raised by her mother in Ojota area of Lagos state.

She had both her primary and secondary education at Ojota part of Lagos and obtained a diploma in Production management from PEFTI film Institute.

Simeon who acts in both Yoruba and English movies, started her career with a role in three episodes of the Wale Adenuga’s comedy series “Papa Ajasco”.

Doris rose to fame with a role in the nollywood film “Oloju Ede”. Ever since then she has starred in more than 80 movies such as; Alakada, Ten Million Naira, Modupe Temi, Eti Keta, Silence, Gucci Girls, Omo Pupa, Iseju Marun and many others. She also starred as Da Grin’s girlfriend in the late rappers biopic, Ghetto Dreamz as produced by Ope Banwo and directed by Daniel Ademinokan.

Aside acting, the beautiful and light skin actress is also a host on a show on Dstv, Faji Extra and also owns a shop where she sells household goods. She’s a brand ambassador for Ribena.

Doris was married to a film maker and director, Daniel Adenimokan whom she met on a movie location in 2006 and they have a son named David. She got separated from her husband in 2013 whom is now married to fellow actress, Stella Damasus.
