Ada Ameh is a multi talented nollywood actress, producer, comedian, event MC, and philantropist born on May 15 to the family of Mr and Mrs Augustine Obande Ameh.
She became a household name for her role in the popular Africa magic television series “The Johnsons” which also had the likes of Samuel Ajibola and Olumide Oworu.
She was born and bred in Ajegunle area of lagos state but originally a native of Idoma in Benue state.
Her mother is from Akwa Ibom state and she’s multi lingual, being able to speak Idoma, Ibibio, Yoruba and Igbo.
Ada Ameh rose to prominence at the age of 22 after starring in the 1998 movie “Domitila”.
Ever since then, Ada has featured in several tv shows and movies including: Phone swap, Two grannies and a baby, A million baby, Ghana must go, Double trouble, Civil war, 30 days in Atlanta and many more.
Ada Ameh gave birth to her daughter at the age of 14 which made her dropped out of secondary school.
Asides acting, she’s also a business woman and an advocate of the girl child education development project.
She has received numerous awards for her excellence including Best actress in a supporting role at Nollywood Movies Award.
Many of her fans are still amazed at her weight loss which the veteran actress attributed to her proper diet and exercise.
