Serena Williams is set to face the Gernan counterpart, Angelique Kerber for an eight wimbledon singles title after both had won theri semi-finals.
The former American number one had cruised past Julia Gorges to get to the final while Kerber had defeated JelenaOstapenko.
Saturday’s match will be like a re-match of 2016 showpiece which was won by Serena Williams.
However, Serena Williams will be seeking a record equalling 24th grand slam titile and her first ever since she gave birth back in September.
On the other hand, the two time grand slam champion Kerber who had an outstanding performance against Ostapenko, will be out for her second wimbledon final.
