Omotola Jalade Ekeinde is an award winning Nigerian actress, singer, former model, entrepreneur and Philantropist born on February 7, 1978.

EARLY LIFE & BACKGROUND
Omotola was born and bred in Lagos state where he currently resides.
She is of Ondo descent and grew up in a family of five including two younger brothers, Tayo and Bolaji Jalade.
Omotola attended Chrisland School Opebi (1981-1987), Oxford children school (1987), Santos layout and Command sceondary school, Kaduna (1988-1993) for her primary and secondary education.
She also attended Obafemi Awolowo University before completing her studies at Yaba College of Technolgy (YABATECH) where she studied Estae management.
CAREER
Omotola started her career professionally in 1995 where she got her first acting role in a movie “Venom of Justice” as directed by Reginald Ebere but came to limelight after starring in the blockbuster movie “Mortal Inheritance” which was regarded as one of the best nollywood movies .
She has also starred in many blockbuster movies such as Games women play, All my life, Last wedding, Blood sister and so on.

The beautiful actress who has appeared in more than 300 nollywood movies, got her first cinematic role in 2010 film “Ije” co-starring Genevieve Nnaji. The film which was shot on severall locations including Jos, California and Los Angeles, was said to be the highest grossing nollywood film at that time.
Apart from being an actress, Omotola also launched a music career in 2005 with the release of her debut album GBA, which gave rise to singles like “Naija Lowa” and “Things You do to me”.

Omosexy as fondly called got married to a pilot, Captain Mattew Ekeinde in 1996. They had their white wedding on board a Dash 7 aircraft flying from Lagos to Benin with friends and family in attendance.
The couple is blessed with four children; Princess, M.J, Meraiah and Michael with their first daughter born in March 1997.
