Kaffy Biography: Profile, Age, Net Worth & Dance Videos

 Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau who is well known as Kffy, is a Nigerian dancer, choreographer, dance instructor and fitness coach born on June 30, 1980.

The dance queen who was born in London, grew up partly in Canada, New York city and Egypt before coming to Lagos as a teen. So typically she was raised in Nigeria.

She attended Chrisland school, Opebi and Coker Secondary school, Orile Iganmu for her primary and secondary education respectively.

She had also attended Yaba College of Technology before proceeding to Olabisi Onabanjo University where she obtained a diploma in data processing.

Kaffy’s dancing career took off after she was called to perform on stage at an event by someone who spotted her when she used to go to the National stadium during weekends for dance rehearals.

She is the founder of Imagneto Dance company and in 2006, she led her dance group to break the Guiness book of record for “Longest Dance Party” after they danced for 55 hours and 40 minutes.

She was also one of the judges at Maltina Dance All and Dance with Peter.

Kaffy who is known for special dance moves with high level of stamina, has alos featured in award winning music videos for top artistes in Nigeria such as Seyi Shay, D’Banj, Tiwa Savage and P-Square.

She was the cretive director for Olamide’s recnt video for “Science student” as shot by Unlimited LA.

Kaffy's family

Kaffy is currently married to her lovely husband, Joseph Ameh who is
also a music director and drummer for the music duo P-Square. Their
union is blessed with two children.

She has also won numerous
awards including; Best Female Dancer of the Year at African Muzik
Magazine Awards and Best Choreographer  of the Year at the Beatz Awards.
