Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr is looking to arriving the 2018 Russia world cup with a top class goal kepper, Maduka Okoye from Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Gernot revealed that the German born goal keeper is ready to switch his international allegiance to Nigeria.

Ever since the injury issue with Nigeria's first choice Goal keeper, Carl Ikeme, Rohr has been searching all around for a perfect replacement and the 18 year old could just be what the coach needs.

Though we all thought is injury issue concerning Carl but it was said that he was diagnosed with Acute Leukaemia after he returned from preseason with his club Wolves.

It was reported that the German born shot stopper who switched his international allegiance to Nigeria two years ago is currently undergoing treatment and could possibly be among the squad for the 2018 world cup in Russia.

Gernor Rohr on the other hnad still have plenty of options at the goal post including the likes of Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Daniel Akpeyi and Francis Uzoho, leaving the coach with a problem of starting role in Russia.

So the former Burkina Faso manager who will be attending the world cup draw today in Moscow, had just confirmed that Okoye has agreed to be part of his plans.
