Super Eagles And Cameroun Drop In FIFA Rankings; Zambia Rise
According to the latest FIFA rankings released on thursday from its official website, Super Eagles of Nigeria had dropped from 38th to 44th position.

Despite an impressive  2018 World cup qualifier campaign by the Eagles, playing six matches without a loss and evening thrashing the Indomitable lions of Cameroun by 4-0, the Super Eagles still did not improved in their rankings as they drop six places in the latest FIFA world ranking.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles are now ranked fifth in Africa, which means they are still doing well within the African continent.

However, the next Super Eagles World cup qualifier opponent on october 7, Zambia have now improved in their ranking moving 18th places upwards to 78.

Also, just like the Eagles, Cameroun are also seen dropped from 35th to 45th in the world ranking.

In the world ranking, Germany has overshadowed Brazil, taking the one spot, with Brazil being second on the list, while Portugal is third, Argentina 4th, Belgium fifth and Poland sixth.

Switzerland, France, Chile and Colombia are seventh, eight, ninth and tenth respectively.
