Rio Ferdinand's Mom Dies Of Cancer, Less Than two Years After He Lost His Wife To The Same Disease
Former England captain, Rio Ferdinand has lost his mum to cancer just after two years he lost his wife to the same disease.


Janice St Fort died aged 58 in London Bridge hospital on Thursday following a battle with cancer, the family said in a statement.

Rio, brother Anton and the family said:

 "We are heartbroken to announce that our our aazing mum Janice passed away today after an ongoing battle with cancer. She was an inspiration to us all and was loved by everyone all who knew her. She died at Guy's cancer unit, London Bridge hospital, with her loving husband Peter and us, her four children, at her bed side."

Rio Ferdinand was left so down when he had lost his wife, Rebecca Ellisson in 2015. He even filmed a BBC documentary titled 'Being mum and dad' in which he opened up for his struggle to move on from the loss and be a role model to their children.
