Pillar of sports, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu has made a statement that it is easier to win the world cup than clinching the African champions league title
while stressing that if given the opportunity to manage the Nigerian Football Frdearation (NFF), he would bring the world cup to Nigeria in three years.

According to reports, he made the disclosure yesterday in his office at Abuja, saying: "It is an easy job, it is not difficult, we have the human and capital resources. World cup is the easiest thing to win, the African champions league cup is harder."

The former Abia state governor who gave Enyimba international a branded identity, has made his opinion clear that the problem with Nigerians is that they do not allow people who are knwledgeable about something to do it or even be in position.

He further emphasized that the problem with Nigerian coaches and manages is that they are being lazy and do not do their homework well, he said: "football is not about being in the office, you must be on the field and have an indepth knowledge of the game."

While reacting to the Super Eagles 2-0 defeat by the Bafana Bafana of South Africa last saturday, Dr Orji Kalu who had watched the match via Satelite in United states said he told his family and friends that the team will not go far.

He also made mention that most coaches do lose focus during the 90 minutes of play as the only thing on their mind is not lose their job while also adding that we do not need to bring in professionals from Arsenal or Manchester city to be able to win matches.

The sports enthusiast further disclosed that his pet team Enyimba was able to conquer both domestic and continental scene because there were no tribalism or favoritism in the team selection as at then.

What do you think? Does he have what it takes to win or not?
