The former Newcastle United midfielder, Cheick Tiote is dead. The Ivorian who died at the age of 30, was said to have passed away on Monday June 5, 2017,
after he collapsed while training with his team mates in Beijing.
According to reports from UK Mirror, his agent Emanuele Palladino confirmed the news on Monday afternoon saying, "I confirm that my client Cheick Tiote passed away today after collapsing in training with his club Beijing Enterprises."
The Ivorian defensive midfielder, Tiote, started his pro career with Belgian club Anderlecht of which he later moved on to the Netherland side FC Twente before joining the English side, Newcastle United in 2010.
Tiote finally joined the Chinese side, Beijing Enterprises this year February of which he made 17 appearances for the club before his death.
Also, Tiote's former team mate at Newcastle United, Demba Ba also tweet his last respect.
