Both of them will now turn to Floydweather and Mike Tyson to train them ahead of the match which will be shown on a pay per view in Las Vegas.
The beef actually started when Soulja Boy liked a picture posted by one of chris Brown's exes on instagram.
Then both of them started engaging in long pair of words on social media, with Soulja Boy even calling out Brown's daughter, Royalty.
Chris Brown then responded, "Royalty is two and have five times more money than Soulja Boy already".
Chris Brown also accused Soulja Boy of being a drug addict and a police informant.
Soulja Boy then offered to meet Brown in Compton for a street fight, but in a video gone wrong – some claim it was staged – Soulja Boy is pushed by one person while another appears to steal his phone.
he then apologised for his erratic behaviour, Brown’s lawyer attempted to sue and then Soulja Boy went back on his apology.
Soulja Boy then called on his friend Mayweather to train him – and the former pound-for-pound king accepted.
“I got the best ever my big bro @floydmayweather training me damn,” he added.
Brown accepted the challenge.
“Now that we have your undivided attention, boxing match set,” the singer wrote.
“Legally. Man to Man. No more dissing and no more talking.
“We in the ring with it. Challenge accepted.”
Mayweather has also agreed to promote the fight, through his Mayweather Promotions and The Money Team brands.
However, Hip hop star 50 Cent has also got involved – saying he will be placing a $100,000 (£80,619) bet on Soulja Boy winning the bout.
The New York rapper is also the one who got Tyson in.
“Listen Mike, they say Floyd’s going to be training Soulja Boy so I said I’ve gotta get Mike Tyson to train Chris Brown,” he said in a phone call posted to Instagram.
Tyson responded: “Yeah, Soulja Boy’s gonna get fucked up.”
Soulja Boy has since claimed that the rivalry started in 2009 when he got together with Rihanna after she saw him in concert.
The boxing match is set to be staged in Las Vegas in March but the main location is not yet decided.
This is going to be a tough one, lets wait till then!
