Omotola Jalade Ekeinde: Actress Supports Senator Dino Melaye's Anti-Tribal Mark Bill

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has given her support to Senator Melaye's bill which seeks to abolish
beautifying the face of any child in Nigeria with tribal mark.

The actress shared the photo below and captioned it with;

         I support a bill against this practice. Like female mutilation, or child marriage, No permanent impairing decision should be taken on behalf of a child.


Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde also known as Omosexy is a Nigerian actress, singer and former model who got her first acting role in 1995 is the first african celebrity to receive over 1 million likes on her facebook page and she currently has a total of 3 million followers on facebook.

Omosexy also launched a music career in 2005 with the release of her debut album titled GBA of which the album produced singles like "Naija lowa" and "things you do to me".

In 2012, Omotola also started her own reality show on Africa magic entertainment, making her the first Nigerian celebrity to star in her own reality show.

However, in 2014, Omotola was honoured by the Nigerian government as a Member of the order of the federal republic, for her contributions to the Nigerian cinema.
